Traditional details of the American Home Pottery include J.W. Longaberger's signature braided trim, "Made in America" embossed onto each piece and our four-petal motif that coordinates with Woven Traditions® Pottery. One detail element missing from our American Home Pottery Mugs is J.W.'s signature three-tack design on the Mug handles. During production we worked with our supplier to obtain the optimum design for the three-tack element, but could not get the tacks to be pronounced due to the handcrafted nature of the Mug handle. The details of the tacks were beginning to lose definition and in some cases this design became unnoticeable. Since we could not maintain the best quality, we elected to move forward without the tacks.
